The tour we offer starts from the city of Van where we will meet you.
Before the peak Ararat tour, we will have day ski touring trips to the peak. Süphan (4,058 m) and the peak Artos (3,537 m). Then we will move to the city of Dogubeayazit and from here we will start to climb Mount Ararat.
At the end of the tour we organize a cultural part of the visit of Ishak Pasha Palace which is a cultural heritage of Turkey and gives a special beauty to the region. The tour will be guided by local and Georgian certified guides.
Mount Ararat location and name
The Mount Ararat is in the eastern part of Turkey in the Dogubeayazit district close to borders Armenia and Iran. Turkish name of Mount Ararat is “Agri Dagi”.
Mount Ararat altitude
Mount Ararat height is 5137 meters. The peak next to the mean peak of Ararat is a small Ararat with a height of 3925 meters. The peaks are an extinct volcano and last activity was in 1840.
